The recalled products include California-grown conventional and organic avocados, according to CNN. They were packed at the Henry Avocado facility in Escondido, California, and distributed to the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Wisconsin.
Affected avocados have stickers that say “Bravocado” on them. Henry Avocado organic products are labeled “organic” and include “California” on the sticker.

“Henry Avocado is issuing this voluntary recall out of an abundance of caution due to positive test results on environmental samples taken during a routine government inspection at its California packing facility,” the company said in a press release issued Saturday.
Henry Avocado started packing at the Escondido plant in late January 2019 and every shipment is subject to the recall. To date, there have been no listeria infections or other illnesses associated with the recalled avocados, the company said.
Henry Avocado said it is contacting its retail customers to confirm the recalled products have been pulled from the shelves. The company advises consumers to check the stickers on their avocados.
Listeria infection, or listeriosis, is a foodborne infection caused by the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes, according to the Mayo Clinic.
